Kids Crafts Recipe: Homemade colored Sand

MATERIALS
- * Color Chart:
- Red – 10 drops
- Yellow – 10 drops
- Green – 10 drops
- Blue – 10 drops
- Purple- 12 Red + 8 Blue – Ratio 2
- Orange – 12 Yellow – 4 Red – Ratio 1
- Teal – 6 Blue + 4 Green – Ratio 2
- Mint Green – 6 Green + 2 Yellow – Ratio 1
- Dusty Rose – 6 red + 2 Blue – Ratio 1
STEP(S):
- Instructions for 1 cup of sand:
- Pour 1 cup of sand unto the bowl
- Pour 1/4 cup of water unto the bowl
- Add 6 (light color) to 10 (darker color) drops of food coloring to the bowl
- Using the spoon mix and let it sit until it has reached the desired color
- Once the sand has reached the desired color, use the strainer to remove the extra water.
- Let the sand air dry on a newspaper or paper towel
