Recycled Kids Crafts: Make a pinwheel
MATERIALS
- 1 Toothpick (recycled)
- 1 Skewer stick (recycled)
- 2 pieces of paper ( you can use origami paper or cut used wrapping paper into squares)
- 1 rubber band
- Scissors
- Glue
- 3 Beads
- Optional:
- Stickers
- Hot glue gun
- 2 pony beads
STEP(S):
- Put glue on the red paper
- Attach red paper to the blue paper
- Valley fold the paper in a diagonal
- open, and Valley fold again in the opposite diagonal
- Open and cut 2/3 through the marked lines
- Put a bit of glue in the center of the paper
- Now start folding every other corner of the paper into the center
- Now take the toothpick and attach it to the top of the BBQ stick using a rubber band
- place two beads as separators on the tooth pick
- Now place the pinwheel into the tooth pick by poking a whole at the center using the toothpick
- Place a bead at the end of the toothpick (the bead I used had a snug fit, you might want to secure the bead with glue)
- Decorate
